At the end of 2025, Frank Beltrame created a completely redesigned box for its switchblades, in collaboration with Studio Fabbro of Maniago (Pordenone).
In recent years, the company focused on refining the mechanism, developing new thicknesses, advancing laser cutting, and improving aesthetics, while leaving the product’s presentation somewhat on the margins. However, the need to renew this aspect—adding that extra touch required for a gift or a sale—had been felt for some time. Therefore, a completely new packaging was introduced, thanks to a tailor-made project.
A design rooted in tradition
The development of the new packaging started with a deep research into the style, colors, and identifying images of the company. Like all projects requiring dedication and study, it brings a reworking of the company’s iconic colors. The traditional green, always used in the company name’s lettering, remains a central element. It is now paired with a refined touch of black, featuring boxes with a double python texture that mirrors the green coloring of the brand’s band on the inside. For the registered trademark, a silver color was chosen to recall the company’s beginnings. Indeed, 56 years have passed since 1970, yet the product remains entirely crafted in Italy with Italian raw materials.
Craftsmanship in every detail
Inside the new box, collectors will find a small warranty sheet. This card provides instructions on the proper care and cleaning of the knife, as well as how to contact the company in case of manufacturing defects. Our production combines specialized machinery for crafting the various components with strictly manual assembly and final testing. This ensures every folding knife meets the exacting standards of private collectors worldwide.
Wholesale packaging and what’s next
The redesign also extends to our wholesale distribution. The wholesale boxes have been modified to hold a half-dozen knives, a quantity highly valued by wholesalers. This packaging has been transformed into a semi-square, havana-colored box containing six pieces.
We will not stop here. We are currently defining a new display unit for shops, counters, the internet, or exhibitions, which will be available very soon. While the graphics are ready, we are still researching the best materials to use—stay tuned!
